I am fortunate to have been asked to deliver 2 schools lectures at the Royal Institution on November 5th (good timing) as my colleague and friend Prof Chris Bishop has unfortunately had to pull out at short notice.

Lecturing at the RI is quite an experience and I’m looking forward to it with excitement and a little trepidation!

The lecture is entitled “Firework Displays: The Science of Explosive Entertainment” and is based on my new book
